Door kick-in prevention for upgraded home security

The Two Post Strike Plate is a heavy duty deadbolt strike reinforcement, created by locksmiths, that targets the weakest point of entry in a home and provides an upgraded physical barrier to forced entry. Applied force is distributed by the lengthened strike plate, longer screws and the two posts embedded into the house studs.

The Two Post Strike Plate works with all standard deadbolts, no special deadbolt is needed. The Two Post Strike Plate should fit doors with sidelight windows, however if needed the 4-1/2" posts can be trimmed with a hacksaw. 

Measurements: 4-3/4" x 1-1/4" strike plate with two 4-1/2" posts. Deadbolt opening is 6/8" x 1-5/8".

Tools required are a chisel, 1/2" and 1" drill bits and drill.
